Fleming v. Maine Department of Corrections

1996 | Cited 0 times | D. Maine | April 10, 1996

Plaintiff has filed a letter with the Court which the Court will construe as a Motion for Court-Appointed Counsel. The Motion for Appointment of Counsel is hereby DENIED subject to reconsideration at a later date, if necessary. See Cookish v. United States, 787 F.2d 1, 2 (1st Cir. 1986).

To the extent Plaintiff is merely seeking the names of attorneys who may be willing to represent him in this action, the Court has no such list for distribution. The Court suggests Plaintiff contact the inmate advocate for the institution in which he is housed for further information.
